Thank you all for your compliments! In response to the question below, there are quite a number of Yoruba dictionaries available on www.amazon.com. However, I’ll make further inquiries and post the name of the most comprehensive Yoruba dictionary available.

What a great and meticulous job done Tokunbo. I’m proud of you along with your parents. I thought I had the biggest single family in Yoruba land with forty nine brothers and sisters and a father with nine wives in those days. When I looked at the old black & white pictures with all the “indelible trade marks all over them” from 1949, 50 and 60’s with the “mat on the floor”, kinda refreshed my memory about my own family tree. It makes you wonder about the uniqueness of Yoruba indigenes (looking alike) irrespective of whether you’re from Olumo (Egbaland) or Ikale land. Great job. I love it. By the way, while we’re at it, could you help me ask your parents or someone resourceful, where I can get a copy of the Yoruba Dictionary? Thank you and keep up the great work of art.

This is a very entertaining site. I enjoyed every moment of surfing through. It’s also amazing to find out that a fellow Abeokuta family also shares my grandpa’s name. I used to think we are the only Oribayo in the world because of the uniqueness of that name. Yours is a great family and I rejoice with you all. Please keep the family together. Best Regards, Ola Anifowoshe (USA)

This is very impressive and hope that the rest of the family (Adepegbas and Awonugas) are aware of this website. The old pictures and those of the very young members of the family are great, especially now that the family has hugely expanded! By the way, I would certainly like to meet George Bush - can this be arranged?
